One of my administrators shared an interesting bit of information today.

• Per Pupil Spending:
  • Nationally, the highest state is New York at $23,000
  • Virginia’s in the middle at just under $12,000
  • Colorado’s average is $9000 (12th from the bottom)
  • Utah is the lowest at $7000
  • My district’s per pupil spending is $5500

I really am terrible at picking jobs for the money.
