I got these shoes ages ago:

They became my go-to travel sandals, taking me across five continents.

Alas, their time came to an end. The left one’s heel support collapsed in the middle, giving me all kinds of new blisters on this trip. I was sticking it out since I didn’t have any great sandal options, but then I found this:

Quoi? Could it be? A shoe store in Paris that carries large shoe sizes?

I bought three pairs (all German brands, the shoe girl told me).

After test running the ones in the middle (no blisters!), I left my old faithful teal Clark’s in the trash can in Paris…

And got a pedicure to celebrate my new finds in London.
